Anritsu is powering 5G service rollout by launching five 5G measurement software options for its MS2850A signal analyzer. These software options are compliant with the 3GPP 5G standards (5G NR hereafter) for measuring the RF Tx characteristics of next-generation 5G base stations and mobile communications terminals.
Target applications include R&D and manufacturing of 5G mobile terminals, satellite communications equipment, wideband communications systems, monitoring of satellite communications, etc.
The new software options include 5G Standard Measurement Software (Basic License), NR TDD sub-6 GHz Downlink, NR TDD sub-6 GHz Uplink, NR TDD mmWave Downlink, and NR TDD mmWave Uplink.
Installing these 5G Standard Measurement Software and options in the Anritsu Signal Analyzer MS2850A is hoped to support fast and stable signal-analysis measurements, such as Tx power, frequency error, error vector magnitude (EVM), etc., at frequencies below 6 GHz (sub-6 GHz) and in the millimeter wavebands (mmWave) such as 28 GHz band and 39 GHz band.
