- The joint development offers high performance for IEEE 802.11ax devices
- Enables successful measurement of total radiated power (TRP) and total isotropic sensitivity (TIS)
Anritsu, in association with EMITE, a developer and manufacturer of OTA Test Systems, has announced their joint solution to test the latest IEEE 802.11 WLAN standard. Anritsu’s Wireless Connectivity Test Set MT8862A integrated with EMITE’s E600 Reverberation Chamber has been successfully tested for OTA TRP/TIS performance of IEEE 802.11ax devices.
With built-in communication protocols and optimised performance for WLAN testing, the MT8862A and EMITE reverberation chamber offer a highly reliable performance of the latest devices in the market. This integration has been able to successfully measure total radiated power (TRP) and total isotropic sensitivity (TIS) OTA performance indicators in IEEE 802.11ax devices.
“WLAN OTA performance test demand is recently increasing in order to secure the brand position with high-quality WLAN products. The IEEE 802.11ax will be a standard WLAN technology in the future, from the latest technologies and features viewpoint, and we are also proud to release the OTA test solution collaborated with EMITE’s leading-edge chamber products to the worldwide market”, said Hideo Zuinen, Product Manager, IoT Test Solutions Div., Anritsu Corporation.
According to Lorenzo J. Martínez-Moya Scharpf, CFO of EMITE, developing this joint solution has garnered worldwide attention and they are already in contact with some important companies. The joint solution is known for TI efficiency saving costs in advance of any investment.
Testing the latest WLAN standards maintain EMITE and Anritsu at the forefront of technology in helping customers and service providers deliver their high-performing WLAN solutions to the market with the utmost reliability.
